Spring Farm & Forest Day at Rising Fawn Gardens
Description
Join us at Rising Fawn Gardens for our annual Spring Farm & Forest Day on Saturday, March 28th. We welcome you to share in our love for the land and the joy of community. Pack a picnic, relax by the creek, wander our trails and take note of the Trillium, Wild Geranium, Trout Lily, Shooting Star, Bluebells and many more spring ephemerals! We invite you to learn more about our events offered throughout the day and to take part in celebrating nature's abundance with us.
Event Details
The farm gate will be open from 9:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. EST
$10 per car guest fee (up to 4 people). The proceeds will be donated to Dade County Library located In Trenton Georgia.
This is a family-friendly and pet-friendly event. If you would like to bring your pet, we kindly request that they remain on a leash while at the farm.
Bring a folding chair for sitting by the creek, a yummy picnic, and your favorite wildflower app or guidebook as you meander and explore along the creek and through the woods.
Please check the weather before you come and dress as needed. This is a rain-or-shine event!
Event Schedule
9:45 am - Gate opens - Trails are open for guests’ use throughout the day
10:00 am - Walk with GA Botanical Society (Limited to 10 participants)
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm - Herbal Tea and cookies available at the Retreat House
1:00 pm - 2:30 pm - Walk with GA Botanical Society (Limited to 10 participants)
3:30 pm - Gates close
Tickets
$10 per car
All participants will be required to register for this event and to complete a waiver for Rising Fawn Gardens before the walk. You will complete this process when buying your ticket.
