Fall Yoga & Meditation Day Retreat with Lynne Jacobs

Join Lynne this fall for a morning of active yoga followed by a gentle therapeutic somatic movement and restorative yoga practice in the afternoon.  Our day together will also include guided meditation and relaxation along with poetry and inspirational talks that will nourish and replenish your soul. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Rising Fawn Gardens, students will also have the opportunity to walk the gardens, roam the hiking trails and sit by the creek during our extended lunch break.

Additional Information:

~ Yoga and meditation experience is helpful, but not necessary for this retreat.  New students to yoga and or meditation are welcome!

~Please bring your lunch.  Hot tea and water will be provided.

~Please bring your own mat.  All other props will be provided.

*Considerations for this retreat concerning the COVID 19 pandemic.  To ensure social distancing in the practice room and common areas, this retreat is limited to a small group of only 10 students. This retreat normally holds around 25 students.  Reducing the number down to only 10 provides ample space between mats and safe social distancing in the common areas. Masks will be required in the entrance area and restrooms at the Yoga House.  Masks will not be required in the large practice space.  Also, one wall of floor to ceiling glass doors can be opened in the practice room, if weather allows, for additional fresh air. In the event that conditions are not safe to gather in October, full refunds will be given. If you have any questions or concerns please contact Lynne at 706-767-0885.

The essence of my work is informed by my core value of having a deep respect for all of life. In all that I do I aim for awareness, listening, leading with compassion, facilitating connection, and honoring that we are all sacred beings. Along my path over the past two decades, I have trained to be an experienced yoga instructor with Yoga Alliance (E-RYT 500), a certified yoga therapist with the International Association of Yoga Therapists (C-IAYT), a somatic educator, and a mindfulness meditation teacher. Wherever you are on your path, I will meet you and provide you with a safe, supportive and sustainable authentic practice that allows you to tap into your inner strength, your ease, and your wise inner teacher. I invite you to join me, together, may this practice and collective endeavor create a kinder, more compassionate, unified and healthy world.
